The company was founded in ’52 by Bill Orr, and was originally located in Midland, Pennsylvania, a small town in the heart of the Ohio River Valley. For more than 40 years, our reputation grew far and wide as more and more customers made the long journey to Midland to do business with us.

In '90, to better serve our customers living in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland, we relocated to a new, larger location in Beaver, PA – not far from the Pittsburgh International Airport.

By '96, we had outgrown that space and decided to move once again this time to our current and permanent home in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood. Again, our business and reputation continued to grow.

In '02 we decided it was necessary to triple the size of the store to accommodate and showcase the vast collection of jewelry, watches and gifts.

In '07, we opened a new location in the heart of Sewickley.  It was a sweet return to the Ohio River Valley region and the community that had seen our store grow for over five decades.

Today, Orr's rocks on with one of the largest collections of fine jewelry in the United States. Stop in and visit with us in Sewickley or Squirrel Hill. Seeing is believing.
